Starbucks Storytime (Event Promotion/Loyalty)
The Starbucks store in Concord, MA held a storytime each week where a barista would read children's stories while their parents enjoyed the store's beverages & snacks. They had a sign-up sheet where patrons could write down their email address to receive a reminder of the storytime date & time each week. The template design incorporated the familiar Starbucks green with a fun mix of children's storybook characters.

JM Productions, a dinner theatre producer in Quincy, MA, needed to drum up some extra business in a new location while bringing extra value to membership on their email marketing list. The offer, $5.00 off each ticket on up to four, was an offer exclusive to those who received the email and the discount code therein, which could be redeemed both via phone & online. The template design incorporated dynamic photos of the featured performers while calling out the exclusive offer & the methods of redemption.

Vyvyane Loh (Author, Choreographer)
Artist Vyvyane Loh sought a website with a classy yet sparse layout, reflective of her own personal aesthetic. The color scheme draws its shades from a handful of beautifully shot black & white photographs of Vyvyane. Section headers use the Park Avenue font while the system text is Book Antiqua to mimic the typography of a book's printed copy. The vertical, staggered navigation compliments the sparse layout while guiding visitors to key information on Vyvyane's various writing & dance projects.

Scott R. Caseley, a screenwriter & filmmaker, needed a website that promotes both his own projects as well as the services he offers other directors & producers. He was adamant the site not "sell" visitors but simply "tell the story" of Static Creations and Scott's own eclectic skills & interests. The light blue of the company logo was incorporated into the vertical navigation & supplies a nice contrast with deeper reds, browns & blacks used in the filmstrip design. A "sound wave," initially part of the logo, is used as a background watermark to provide added texture.
Scott R. Caseley, a screenwriter & filmmaker, needed a website that promotes both his own projects as well as the services he offers other directors & producers. Stork's Best Friend (Baby Planner)
Samantha Marquis challenged Tumoki to design a website with a playful, child-like quality. Baby planning being a fairly new industry, a competitor survey was naturally limited while the possibilities of the directive were nearly endless. A layout suggesting a children's picture book was created to help Stork's Best Friend stand out from it's competitors in both tone & style. While Tumoki does not typically use clip art in its designs, the use here as "illustrations" completes the design & compliments the text with suggestions of the emotions associated with pregnancy & parenthood.

Vernon, CA based uniform supplier Metro Uniforms needed a trio of promotional banners created to market their lines of Dickies Sandwashed and IguanaMed Bamboo products. Two of the banners feature dynamic photos of the models wearing the product while the third banner highlights the products alone while calling out the unique material used in it's creation (bamboo). The three promos then needed to be combined into a single banner used on the front page to spotlight all of the company's current Specials.
